Looking for a motivated legal professional with a law degree or LPC qualification to join us at NatWest Markets. In this role youﾒll work with colleagues in NatWest Markets Legal to provide advice and support on a wide variety of products, projects and businesses across NatWest Markets.
You'll work with colleagues in the NatWest Markets Legal teams which support Currencies, Clearing and Ecommerce, Debt Capital Markets, Regulatory Advisory & Derivatives Policy, and Structured Derivatives & Risk Solutions to deliver accurate, timely and cost effective advice and support to businesses across NatWest Markets.
We'll look to you to: Support the NatWest Markets Legal team in the provision of legal advice to the business and our clients. Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in NatWest Markets Legal and with business stakeholders. Keep up-to-date with, and share. relevant legal and market developments. Look for improvements in the operating practices and processes of NatWest Markets Legal, identifying efficiencies, improvements and opportunities to reduce costs.
The skills you'll need: You'll be able to show. Experience of providing paralegal support to transactions and projects in-house or in a leading UK law firm, with financial service and general banking experience. The ability to gain the respect of, and build strong relationships with, colleagues, stakeholders and external advisers. Commercial awareness and analytical skills. Knowledge of the principal regulatory and legal framework within which NatWest Markets and RBS operates.
