The UK business covers both Citicorp and Citi Holdings. With approximately 8,500 employees in the UK, this role will focus on providing HR support to client groups across the full range of the Citi business lines as follows: Markets, Banking, Private Banking, Consumer, Global Functions, Operations and Technology.

Investigate fully and manage the adjudication of background screening discrepancies. Liaise with HR Professional Services Generalists and Employee Relations to obtain necessary approvals. Support the pre-offer Employment of Relatives Process to ensure the process is followed as appropriate. Track absence, manage employee referrals to Occupational Health and effectively manage PHI process ensuring the timely notification for 80% + cases. Manage script and letter bank of materials. Maintain shared files for the team ensuring all required documents are available, up-to-date and organized. Liaise with ER team for changes to standard letters, query resolution and seeking exceptions. Partner with HRPS Generalist in managing probationary reviews or capability cases, as appropriate. This may include producing minutes, letters and general co-ordination associated with the procedures. With support, provide advice and guidance to managers on basic ER issues, ensuring the management population is kept up-to-date on policy issues and any employment law risk is effectively managed.

Provide advice and guidance to employees on Citi Policies and Procedures, if escalated from HRSS. Work with other HR colleagues and specialists whose services have an impact on the employment relationship (e.g. Reward and Mobility, Learning, Resourcing and Employee Relations). Support and manage the mobility process to include managing Employment of Relatives review and approval. Complete the Mobility Pro-Forma's and update the tracker on all moves. Work with Mobility, Deferred Comp and Tax to ensure that all matters concerning the employee are well understood prior to any move occurring.

Manage the cross border transfer process to ensure that the move is as efficient and seamless as possible. Co-ordinate and deliver individual projects and support HRPS Generalist on larger team projects. Initiation and participation in project initiatives to improve HR productivity through process re-engineering.
